Refund from paypay to my hdfc vcc

Hi friends,

recently i have made online shopping with my HDFC virtual credit card through paypal.
but due to the lack of stock, my seller has refunded the money through paypal.

i got mail from paypal that the seller has refunded to you and that money wil be credited.
paypal said
"this refund will appear on your credit card statement as credit from PAYPAL *SELLERKEY"

but infact as i did not use any real credit card, how do i get the refund?
its been 2 days i got refund maiil from paypal, but its still not showing in my HDFC account balance.

i am panic.
what to do?
 
Don't worry, it might take a couple of days for the refund to reflect on your card account, but it will come. I have also got refunds when I've used HDFC vcc.
 
Yes my friend, I have had personal experience when I got refund using my HDFC virtual credit card. I don't exactly remember in how days, but it reflected on my cc statement.

Also I assume you must have paid through paypal. If you login to your paypal account, you should see the reversal in your account, if there reversal is there, then it will be refunded to your cc account.
 
i have paypal account but its not verified and it has zero balance. so i made the payment through HDFC vcc, through paypal.

as you said,if i go the paypal account i dont see any transactions there listed in my account.

also i did not understand your words

Even though we dont have paypal account, we can pay through paypal, right? thats the approach i followed.
 
I just got refund mail from paypal.
they said it would be refunded to the credid card i used while paying.

as you know, i used VCC, i was panic if it would be credited to my account or not.
its been 2 days so i was wondering.

you will get refund even if you made payment using VCC. To clear confusion, you should use HDFC phone banking.
 
If you used your Credit card to fund the netsafe card, refund will be done to your original physical credit card which you used to create netsafe card.

If you used direct bank account to fund netsafe VCC, refund will be done to the bank account.

No need to worry. It takes anywhere beteen 3-5 days for your balance to be updated.

Keep checking your credit card balance and statement online.
 
i contacted customer care and this is the response i got from them.

"In case the Netsafe card is not used at all, the funds will be credited to your account on the 3rd working day (does not include weekends and bank holidays) from the date the card is created.
In case, a part of the amount of the NetSafe card is used (card created for Rs. 200/- but only Rs. 100/- used online), the funds will be credited to your account after 35 days."
 
^^ Even if its partially used, it wont take 35 days etc. Usually the balance amount gets credited in max 3-5 days.

i have also used hdfc VCC may times to pay vai paypal and also got refund many times..

dont worry

just be patient..........
 
well the same has happened with me once, don't worry u'll receive the refund straight into ur hdfc account it takes 35-40 days for the amount to be refunded to ur account. no shortcuts for coz i tried a-lot arguing with hdfc ppl but no use. best way is to wait..... :)
 
same happened with me too...it may take upto 35 days to reflect in your account. Dont worry have patience n wait.Its useless to call HDFC customer care, my personal experience.
 
i got the money deposited to my account today.
it took exactly 7 days.

as you people said, yes its best to
"just be patient and wait, the money will be deposited"

hey ravindar glad your refund is back where it should be. I have requested a withdrawal too from paypal into my bank account.. should be sometime next week :)
