I have been waiting since ages... for this.

But i doubt we will see it in India anytime soon, it was launched in September 2023, technically should have been available around diwali 2023.. didn't happened, diwali 2024 didn't happened.
gen1 max had flaws in wifi antenna resulted in many returns.. which now they are selling. Until amazon finish dumping all this old stock. gen 2 may not be available.

I have this, maybe i got lucky but i have no issues. I get full speed on 100mbps, with router in another room. Have 0 issues streaming 4k HDR.

Same here, 4k working fine for me too.

I have Fire Stick 4K Gen 1 and had the same network dropping issues within the entertainment unit even as the router was nearby. I wired it using a USB OTG Host Cable and USB to ethernet adapter which made the connectivity stable and solved the issue.
