Refurbished iphone without contract in USA ?

Can anyone tell me where can a person get Refurbished iphone without contract in USA ?

I have already checked Apple Stores, AT & T stores, sites, Best Buy etc but all are with contract.

Please suggest store or website which sells Refurbished iphone without ANY contract.
 
Check out ebay or craigslist , I don't think its possible to acquire an iphone officially from Apple or AT&T without signing a contract.

best thing as suggested before is eBay.com safer..

now a days craigslist is also full of thugs adding classifieds..

i know this from personal experience. " A friend works in dallas, he similarly went in for an iphone deal !! and the guy who had added that classified turned out to be a bunch of thugs.. who looted him of 400$ and he could do nothing! "

so i would suggest pls stay away from it!!

Checked AT & T as well Apple but both have contracts. Any other sites ?
 
I don't think you can buy it without contract in the US. Your best bet is to buy the iPhone from online At&t store, use it for a month and pay the early termination fees of $170. You would also have to pay the first month's bill. But, it turns out cheaper this way. Keep looking for deals on the Atnt store. I got my iPhone 3GS 16GB for $63 with a 2 yr contract.
