I once got a refurbished Thinkpad T480 from amazon for ₹27000. I was very excited. But upon arrival, it had a small crack on screen corner with dead pixels, a few keys were broken/not working. Thankfully it got returned after many phone calls and sending images to amazon. So i would be cautious there.
Why buy an already 6 year old laptop & hope for upgradability, future-proofing? Nowdays even office & chrome will take up 16 gigs of ram. (i advice get at least 32 gigs)
Aren't the new Thinkpads a bit upgradable again (battery & SSD are upgradable in T14 & T14s)
If so, i would consider waiting a generation to get a bit lower price.
