TechEnclave gets a welcome mention in a 'The Times of India' article regarding Google Adsense (the website advertisement program).
The full version of the article can be read at epaper.timesofindia.com by selecting the mumbai edition (14th April) and then International Page 31.
We have even started getting queries regarding the same.
However there were some anomalies in the article concerned. The precise version of that as told by Safin should read somewhat different. The adsense was implemented way back on the site and has certainly helped in supporting it but its not self sufficient yet. There are mounting server and license cost and we still have a hard time controlling those. Each month the hosting alone drains more than what we earn.
Well to cut the long story short and coming to the point.. Earning through google adsense is not as easy as the article makes it to be. In fact it is not at all easy. There are ways to cheat google (and get lifetime ban) but lets not even get close to discussing that.
There are thousands of things that we have done and implemented over the years that has helped us reach this stage and there is no secret formula to this.
How to implement the adsense program is all over the internet but to earn through adsense you must have a good hit rate, i.e. a lot of people visiting your site which is possible only when you have good content. Yes it all comes down to content. And then hope that all those visitors click on the banner ads by google.
Now if a site like TechEnclave finds it hard to make money out of the thousands of pages and unique visitors each day, not to mention the good search engine optimizations that we have implemented, then I guess it is self explanatory.
