Regarding ICICI Virual CC

I have my Uncle's ICICI Internet Banking Account. I Wanted to Do an Paypal Payment, Hence Searched For Virtual CC and Registered For it.
It Says It will Take up to 5 days. That's it.

1. How do i know when it will Get Activated.
2. Possible to an Paypal Purchase via Uncle's Account?

ICICI Internet banking Users who have Already Dealt with Virtual CC Kindly Help me!
 
AFAIK, it is issued as an addon to an existing credit card, I don't think you can get one with just a savings account.

Besides ICICI Debit card works with PayPal.
 
I see. If the Debit Cards Works with Paypal It should be Cool Enough. But can i use Other's Debit card for Payments with my Paypal Account.??
 
As long as your last names are the same you can add the card as the first name can be different and you can enter it while adding the card.

just on the side note , how safe is my DEBIT CARD when linked in paypal .
since debit cards dont have any dispute system .

i had linked my icici visa debit card with paypal , they charged 1.03 but never returned the amount , on the other hand google music credited back the 1.03 rupees .
so thats not acceptable from paypal .

besides paypal ,
how secure is visa debit to pay online ? if someone got my card details (viz from system malwares) and paid internationally ( as no requirement of verified by visa) ,
in that case what has to be done ??

HDFC netsafe cards used to work , didn't tested it from last 1 year , so one need to see .

HDFC Netsafe service is down since last 3 months or even more. They are saying that upgrade is going on.

If you need to use a VCC with Paypal, register for a ICICI B2 account. It offers free VCC service. I have been using it for Paypal payments and in places where a VISA credit card is required for payment. Works very well.

it clearly mentions during verification, the amount is credited to your paypal balance. make a purchase and use it, no point complaining since the only reason you would want to link your card in the first place would be to make a payment. very much acceptable in my opinion!

There is no such thing as paypal balance for indian customers , they cant pay from the paypal balance , they have to mandatory withdraw that amout to the bank .
So even if paypal mistakenly credits you 10$ , you can't use use that amount to buy anything .

I was trying to be funny and failed about the 1.03 thing , anyways they transferred the 1.03 amount almost after a month .
 
So guys I have created my account in ICICI b2. Now should I opt for ewallet or icici vcc to link paypal account. I created this account in icici b2 only because of hearing on other forums about paypal being accepted. Please suggest.

Load some funds in your eWallet and link it to your Paypal account.
