Reliable mobile shops (Mumbai)

Hi,
Does anybody know of any reliable shops selling cell phones and original/good quality accessories (very important) at a reasonable rate ?

I am looking for shops around CHurchgate/CST/Fort or near any of the Western line stations upto Bandra.

I am looking to buy a cell, HPM70 for SE 810i, 1 Gb microSD card and original ScratchGard screen

Any idea where can i get this ?

i dunno..about shops in churchgate/CST/FORT ...BUT ALPHA is a shop where u will get cell phones very cheap...and i am sure all of dem are original with all accessories..and warranty..the only reason they are cheaper than other shops..

cauz they bring it from other countries..i knw this cauz..the ALPHA owner is a very special frnd of my dad..so my dad says..the quality of products can be trusted.
 
^^ Can you find out the cost of a few things for me ? I need a 1 Gb microSD card with warranty and an original ScratchGard
 
microsd :huh: u mean memory stick pro duo right will cost you 1.3k sony branded from grey ; orignal HPM70 would cost around 1.2k from sony service center/dealer, scratchguard will be 200/300 bucks i guess
 
@ thexfactor. dood.. where is the sony dealer? i cant find any original hpm 70 :(... i found @ chroma.. i think it was for 1345 or 1245 something :-s

If they bring from other countries than it will call as Grey Market and that means the bill provide by him is FAKE.

You will get warranty only if you buy the Product which is specially shipped for India by Manufacturer and buy from Distributor appoint by Handset Company.

I see Hologram Sticker on W800i Box saying India

There is Authorised Sony Dealer in Mira Road on western suburb line.
 
@chic_magnet : I had got it from Protocol Links the SE service center at Mulund, though they get most of the stuff fom the lammy ss, u could try and contact them, I can't find the ph. no. right now.
 
ALPHA they offer both grey and with bill too so choice is urs, btw the stuff with n without warranty is totally diff stuff so dont be confused its the same stuff with n without warranty
 
Alpha has totally different warranty policy even if you dont get it without bill. If problem comes give it to them and they will fix it. And they are that reliable. They will fix the phone for you. So its not big risk to purchase from alpha without bill.

Heres an update, I have finally bought HPM-70 from a local dealer for 500 bucks. The quality may not be as good as the original, but I heard it and its good enough for the person for whom i bought it.

Got ScratchGard for 300 bucks ...(if you ever buy one, make sure you apply it yourself, the guys at the shop will screw it up without reading the instructions)

Got a Toshiba 1 Gb microSD (for my Nokia) from JJMehta's new shop - 'Karthik Photo Stores' at Nakshatra mall at Dadar. 1250 bucks with a 1 yr warranty (least price I was quoted in all shops that i have asked). These shops (both JJMehta and their cell shops) are turning out to be giving good deals on camera and cell phones product. Feel free to bargain if you find the price high. At times the price quoted over emails is very high as compared to when you go directly to the shop and speak to either Karthik (for cameras) or Mitali (for cell phones).

Still planning to get a sleek soft leather cover (should not be tacky like the belt covers). This is more like the leather covers that you get with a V3i. It looks prerry elegant and does not bloat up your cell's size. Have no idea where to get it from.

Can I have Phone no/mail id for Cell Phone i.e. Mitali, where the shop is at Dadar or elsewhere?

OK, experience is best !

So do they charge to fix any problem wid Cellphone (without bill) before expiry of 365 days Mouth Warranty (Shopkeeprs/dealers warranty).
