Reliance 3G Services Launched in 4 Cities

There is a Great News for the Cellphone users In India.

Reliance Communication on Monday became the second private telecommunication company After Tata Docomo to launch Third Generation (3G) mobile telephony services. The service will be initially available in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chandigarh, but the All India launch would happen by Next year.

^ err there is no BSNL in Mumbai nah . I was looking at spending about 250-350 bucks max on 1GB plan or 500 on 2/5GB. Unlimited would be awesome but don't think a reasonable unlimited 3G plan will ever exist.

Pay as you go is the most expensive plan. ~Rs 512 for just the first 50 Mb alone. The 500mb plan is the ideal one to go for, though would have liked it to be 1-2 GB for that price. No option though, will have to settle for Reliance it seems as I'm sure Vodafone and Airtel will be even more expensive.

Well, you can't really expect private operators to provide 3G services for cheap when they have paid so much for the spectrum and infrastructure!

I am tempted to say 399 for 500 MB plan is pretty decent but would have been perfect if it had been for 299!

Yes but i stay in Pune for most of time and also i can use BSNL 3G in Mumbai over MTNL Dolphin network.
