Reliance 3G Services Launched in 4 Cities

I have stopped expecting from 3g services now looks like it was mukesh ambani who brought pricing wars. Younger brother not much of an innovator.
For now MTNL 3g at 3.6mbps FTW. :(

Mannn! These plans are disgusting.

Airtel is showing on their site that they are going to offer 2gb for rs49 per month. Lets hope for the best.
 
Anybody getting access to 3g network in mumbai with their old sims.
Was getting access earlier with no data but from the last 3 days even cant access their 3g network.

Can u give the link of Airtel site which is showing that plan?

I don think Airtel/Vodafone will launch cheaper plans either.

All i want is Rs.99 or Max Rs.150 per month for ATLEAST 500MB data. I will be content with that for now.
 
Finally GOT 3g access in mumbai.
Speeds are fluctuating a bit tried a mediafire download which gave average speeds of 360KB/SEC and above.
Speeds are not stable though but it is better than mtnl 3g now.
So happy for now :)

Only thing is the consistency which i think will be sorted out later.

I think there is a TE member BF1983 who works at Reliance communications.
I think he can provide us with a free review of reliance 3G

I had just tried it out of curiousity
Actually i am running out of free space on my hdd and the content to download so cannot do a through test to conclude anything :p

BTW it reached a max speed of 850KB/sec and i think my c5 phone was the bottle neck :p
 
^^ I have a Mumbai Reliance SIM and am not able to connect to 3G network at all :S

It says access denied when i put my phone in UMTS mode and tried connecting to Reliance 3G network.

Do as i say enable your phone in gsm mode.
2. Restart your phone
3. After it connects to edge network shift to dual mode.
3. It will again show edge network.
4. Now change to umts mode.
5. You get access to 3g ;)

Thats what is mentioned in my nokia C5 .
The dual mode is a network mode where both 2g and 3g sims work together.

Speeds are too fluctuating as of now.
Got max speed in downloading of 932KB/sec on my nokia C5 phone.
Am on the default plan.
Tried 72Op streaming on youtube but seems the connection spikes a lot got a 34 sec video streamed without waiting period and then it got stuck.
Will have to try the dos trick to see if get constant speeds then.
 
i simply cant get access to 3G :(, network access denied, tried your mentioned method, still doesn't work, Dual mode = automatic mode btw for some mobiles :)
 
Put your phone in automatic mode of network selection of network and put it on automatic mode (dual mode)

I am sure you will get edge network there .

Then try for 3g.

where are you located exactly?
