I've been having this problem with my reliance broadnet connection for the past 6 days now, my system can't get an IP assigned from the reliance servers :no:.....I have tried everything from rebooting to resetting modem and all and am confident that the problem is at reliance's end . I tried customer care but they work at their own pace.....can anyone give me an idea about what needs to be done to get this problem solved? I can still sniff the network using wireshark....so i guess the cabling must be fine.....is there anything else that can be done at my end :S (except repairing connection via the windows gui) to get the connection working ? This disconnection is proving really harmful for me since i have my exams going on and the internet is such a great tool whenever i have doubts.......so guys plz help me out with this
