Reliance Jio has slashed the price of its JioFi 4G dongles in lieu of festivities. Earlier priced at Rs 1,999, the JioFi dongle will now be available for Rs 999 only. The offer on JioFi is applicable for all buyers who purchase the dongle between September 20 and September 30.

Under the Rs 999 discounted plan, JioFi users will get free unlimited voice calls with additional 2GB of 4G data everyday, and 100 local/national SMS per day with a validity of 28 days. This scheme can be available for up to four recharges. Another bundle of the scheme includes unlimited voice calls and 1GB of 4G data every day along with 100 local/national SMS per day for 28 days, applicable for six recharges. Users can also avail unlimited voice calls, 60GB data, and 100 SMS per day for 60 days for two recharge cycles.

I'm wary of ISP jargon. Does this mean I get 2GB data etc. for 28 x 4 days ?
 
I thought that it was a confusing article.

This is what I understand -

Pay 999 for the device.

Pay 399+99 for the JDD or whatever scheme they are calling it now a days. 84 days, 1GB/day FUPd and UL Voice Calls and SMS.

Also, they are planning to make some new data card only schemes, where only data and no voice will be provided. I would suggest to be vary.
