Does enabling backup codes disable the email confirmation?

One can still login with email and password... Right?

Or can reset the password?
 
I didn't get the codes via email. I had taken a pic of the backup codes, but for some reason that particular pic is missing from my cloud and I don't see it anymore.

Raghav_Go , I tried changing the password as well but seems like i'm locked out.

if any mod can help me get back access to that account would be great.

Hey I have an account on TE username: RaRaa & I am not able to login because I enabled 2FA. My old OP6 died & I had to switch to my old galaxy Note10 but after installing Google Authenticator on Note10 I did not see my TE account under it.
I need help to recover my old account. I have tried to contact the team using the help tab at the bottom but that doesn't seem to work at all.

Need help.
 
Authenticator is device specific, not linked to any account.
If you can't revive your OP6 to transfer the Authenticator app data to a new one,
And if you don't have a backup to the 2FA on this site,
I am afraid you can't do anything.

Well that's bad. Can't an Moderator/Admin reset the 2FA on the account? Do you know or can tag anyone who has the authority to take action?

On my OP6 the WiFi & mobile networks is dead (no network, no WiFi) & I have already factory reset it in hopes that it could be fixed but no, it's gone.
The E-mail & Phone number are mine & I have everything to prove the account is mine.
 
Use this temp account for now.
Only the Admin - Renegade can reset your old account. He can merge both accounts post reset.

This will not be that easy for the mods disable the 2FA, Also to do that for u u have to prove the mods that this handle @Pratik.Sampat belongs to you.

Why you want to get the 2FA disabled don't u have access to the email address on this account?
