I want to get atleast i5 8th gen+16GB RAM under 25k and found this https://amzn.eu/d/gAk1GKN for 21k
It is Lenovo ThinkPad t480 with i5 8th gen 16G RAM, 256SSD. It comes with 6 months brand warranty.
Is it worth it or should I visit nehru place?
 
Would suggest you visit the local market and check.

I got a similar spec version for 18K in a tier 1 city down south. You might need to find cosmetically good looking pieces out of their entire lot and test everything before you get it home.

Most, if not all, batteries will be fake. Even if they say they're going to replace it with a new one, it'll probably be fake and not the rated capacity.

This holds true for both Online and offline purchases.

Yes, battery will going to be an issue in these old systems. You are right, should visit local market as I can inspect everything then and there.
 
some time they even replace Touch Screen with some OEM non-touch and use Original Screen to repair any other system at higher price as the screen is ORIGINAL, thus, manage to sell at cheap rate.
