Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy Grand i9082

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Grand i9082, a month ago- and as i do hike quite some and need a replacement battery- the set carries a Model EB-5351163LU 2100 mAH Battery, which i cant seem to find any where.

Can some one tell me if 2100 mAH
SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 I9300 BATTERY EB-L1G6LLUCINU

will fit into the Galaxy Grand.
 
No prob with Grand- i is a grand phone- Only need extra battery to carry on long hike- where a charged battery in pocket is an asset.
 
U can try getting a power bank, which can be used to charge the phone,u can charge your phone 2-3 times depends on the quality of the power bank
 
+1 to power bank.
Extra battery will work only for grand phone, Power bank will be useful to charge any device capable to take USB.

Am curious what is draining your battery. Does your phone have a GPS or is it A-GPS relying on mobile networks. Out in the country where the signal is weak is going to drain your battery faster. If there is a GPS in the phone then you can switch off mobile and get more battery life.

I did think of the power bank idea earlier but what you want is to swap out batteries when you need to. A power bank is only good to charge them, not much use when you have flat battery and don't want to wait for it to charge up.

Did you try getting in touch with a samsung service centre ? They usually have batteries but may charge more than on the open market.
