Storage Solutions Replacing Laptop HDD with SSD

Hi,

I have HP DV6 3057TX laptop. It has 500GB 7200rpm HDD. I want to replace it with a SSD, mostly 120GB one, and putting 500GB in a 2.5" casing. Laptop is out of warranty.

Please pour in your suggestions for same. Which brands/model/make ? Any issues faced later on with the system ?

Also want to know how can i get my Win 7 on SSD ? I have not got any media/DVD with laptop. However I have backedup them on 6 DVDs.

Have anyone earlier performed this type of replacement ?

Crucial m4 would be the ideal choice. There is absolutely no issue in installing, just swap it with HDD.

Also want to know how can i get my Win 7 on SSD ?

Pen drive !?!
