Req: S/w To Extract Audio from Video

if its an avi, try virtualdubmod (virtualdubmod.sf.net),
. load the avi
. menu > streams > stream list
. choose the stream, use Demux or Save Wav.
 
Used the virtual dub mod method as mentioned..

but i am not able to use the wav file or the sound file saved via Demux method in audacity ..

Infact the wav file is all garbled wen saved thru Virtual Dub method ..

and the ac3 file via Demux method is not playable in my mobile fone. :(

Audio Extractor terminating everytime i hit Start Button..

(The file i wanna process is a chunk of avi file which has been cut from a movie file of same extension..)
 
Long back I had used a small and simple application called VCD Cutter to extract audio from a video file....u can download and try using it...
