What's your budget anyway, try to get some B350 atx mobo which will have lots of sata & pcie slots & assuming a weak 1st gen ryzen like 1200 or even 1600 with no OC then no need to worry about VRMs either (weakest point of many early ryzen mobos).staying away from expensive ones .Sitting on crosshair vii x470 with blown smd near vrm.
I hope its a tomahawk B350 which has one of the best VRMs among all early gen ryzen mobos. Btw, no B350 mobo has pcie 3.0 slot.currently running a 5900x on b350 with PCIE 4.0 , just looking for another board to repurpose 1700x as homeserver
I have this mobo and it has 4ram slots and 3 pice in x8 slots. No other mobo in or around this price in am4 does it.ASUS x570 ace pro
Yes that's its only unique point else with its standard price (not sure about yours so can't comment on that) one would expect at least debug codes, 2.5gbps ethernet & an internal type C header.I have this mobo and it has 4ram slots and 3 pice in x8 slots. Let me know if you like it
Now even I'm curious to know what motherboard you settle on.Yes that's its only unique point else with its standard price (not sure about yours so can't comment on that) one would expect at least debug codes, 2.5gbps ethernet & an internal type C header.
