What mate,

Just one member have answer to my question?

Others please reply here?

well I seriously feel a budget if 3K is too less for a 'good' or even 'decent' 5.1 system.... Increase that budget a bit. At least 5K or so...

That being said artis are good VFM... Even the higher Intex series are good for their price mind ya..

Which one you suggest if I try to increase budget...

First question... does ur dvd player have analog 6 channel audio out? Else you'll have to get speakers that have a digital decoder in them... costs a bomb.

As I already running out of Money and if my Family Member read this they are going to kill me, as they suggest to buy Onida DVD Player with inbuilt Amplifier, please search for me as LG DS 9533 specifications and suggest what is right SPEAKERS.:(

I know some of our Brilliant Members have same model - friends please help me.

I feeling like Aasmaan Se Gira Khajoor Pe Atka:huh:

here is the Offical Page of LG DS 9533. Please look at here for more info as I am Dumb to get what you mean.

^^Look behind the dvd player... does it have RCA outs for Front Left/Front Right/Rear Left/Rear Right/Center/Subwoofer or is it just Left and Right? In the latter case, you'll need a dolby decoder/receiver/speakers with an inbuilt decoder like the logitech z5500.

^^In that case any computer 5.1 speaker will work. Get an altec lansing or something.

Mate I am dumb in Quality tech. products information. Here at my place dealers push what they have in stock and good margin. They have less knowledge of Quality or pretend same as always they told buy any one from there shop all are good enough:huh: .

So please suggest me a Model Number and Price too. (if possible)

OK... there's an intex model 8800 that is decent. But since you wanna go budget try the mercury HT6700R, I had that model while in chennai (mainly because it was smaller than my z5500). Good sound, by good I mean for a 4K 5.1 speaker.

If some dealer could get you an HT5800R, that was the best of the mercury range. I still have one in my shop in jabalpur..

Hi Vandal,

Can you please give me latest price of HT5800R?

altec lancing is good but 5.1 won`t fit in ur budget, however give a try to creative they have some desent sounds available at Rs. 3.5k-4k.

Pal see the HT5800R is a phased out model. The thing is it was one of mercury's best models, and was even being sold in Dubai, some 3 years back... Looks huge too, the subwoofer used the same enclosure as the artis X8.

The piece I have isn't new, used at my place, and then carted to my shop (I like to listen to music, and so does my small bro..)
Pick up the HT6700R, I've used them, they are a good VFM deal for 4K, (in fact should cost ya around 3.5K). Gave the speakers to my cousin bro, just before I left for Chennai again.

Where are u located? You can check up on Kobian's website... google it or something....

The thing is lower end altec's aren't that good, and they basically aren't VFM.. I know cause I've tested nearly all their models. They don't have a good 5.1 in their lineup now (for that budget).
Intex had a wooden looking IT4800 model with remote that you could also look at. Pretty decent for 3~4K.

^ creative lower end are POS IMNHO

What you friends say about Artis Speakers.

On there site I read that they have some Home Theater system with FM but they didn't mentioned price there I mail them 3 days back but no reply.

Same thing with RpTech (altec lancing), most of time there site show some Database errors?

Artis good, but nothing good in 5.1 for that budget.

Vandal and other Friends,

OK now budget can increase to Rs.4000-5000

Please suggest me 5.1 Home Theater with AM/FM Budget. I didn't used it for gaming but for Music and Movies.
