Respawn indian online website hacked

Funny thing happened just now. I had bookmarked a MSI Neo 4 platinum webpage about a month back and found the thing that you can see in the first screenshot :ohyeah:

So out of curiosity, i tried the website main address . It says site under maintenance(second screenshot):ohyeah: looks like someone hacked the website. And thats a website which takes our credit card numbers and ships the products. Probly them and us, both need to be careful in future

bad news but luckily the website never used credit cards

only Cheques, DD's & Online/Wire Transfers
 
it was not just one website the whole f***ing web host server with over 350 websites was hacked, all the php's of various websites on the whole server were injected with the code, sad man, and i thought hosting in India was bad.... but non of the usernames/pass or databases or anything else was screwed around with... this was just an image injection code in the PHP, hopefully will be gotten rid of soon.
 
yeah , its sad that the webhosting guys have to go through this stuff. just coz some miscreant decides to show his skills to f*** a website, the site owners have to go through losses. But at the same time, now i know why few web hosting services boast about their security
 
The transactions on the site are still safe coz ..all the transactions were made thru DD and no credit cards are used..

Moreover people usually contact m3ga directly for stuff :P
 
I read in todays ToI that a lot of DNS servers were flooded yesterday....related incident? That was suspected to be from Korea though..
 
the news is out 17 servers were hit including amazon.com all the sites are vulnerable... they crack passwords and just start injecting codes... but a source said they couldnt get into the databses coz they were double encrypted on a different shell..... so now everything is fine... just have to do a little cleanup as you can see Respawn Online Store is now clean.... + we didnt take any credit card transaction.... so each and every customer is safe :)
