i recently reinstalled winxp in c drive. the d drive has full of software installed. after reinstalling of winxp, i lost all the sortcut and desktop icons of previously installed software. how to restore ?
Thats a pretty complicated job, coz all the Program Files might be there in the D drive, add to it the registry entries and the DLL locations they are linked to...if u had XP earlier in D drive then check the Documents and Settings>UserName folder in that drive, there look for the Desktop folder...
