i have 2 PC's & 2 laptops connected via a Belkin Wireless G- Router...only the laptops are connected wirelessly. for ease i am referring to the PC's as A & B & the laptops as C & D...on A i have enabled sharing of a drive..now this drive is visible to B, C & D all under "my network places"...but i want it to be visible to only B...so that C & D can't access it...is there any way to do it?

-make a user for sharing on the pc/laptop where u have shared the resources.

-give only that user the access rights to that folder

-when accessing that folder user will be asked for user/password

-only who has the access to the user/password can access the resources.

hi, i think this is what i want to do on my home network, ok i have a laptop which i have created a partition on it and shared it on my network "WORKGROUP" i then set a quota to 7GB but what i want that to do, is each computer i add the partition to gets their own 7GB and also, so no other computer on the network can see their data, so they have their own 7GB each, how do i do this??? thanks in advance
