Restricting Speeds in IDM !!

Hey guys,

I want to know if theres any way i can limit my download speed in IDM. Because what happens is when i am using both Torrents and IDM..

Even though i have plenty of speeds and i keep the Torrents Priority High.. IDM eats up all the bandwidth.. Although similar option is there in Utorrent but my utorrent already doesnt get speeds..

So i want to keep a balance between both Utorrent and IDM... :ashamed:

i face a similar problem and the only solution i found was in using netlimiter and limiting the speed of IDM externally to the desired speed.

i suggest using flashget bcoz it has all the stuff that idm has and a bit more

it does have options too for limiting bandwidth to the software

Never used Netlimiter..and how would that only slow down IDM and not Utorrent ?

cause it gets listed in the window where u can manually assign limit ul/dl for a particular app

Flashget suks...idm is much better,,flashget--26-28kbps Idm--30-32kbps..
makes a difference...

Yeah thats the reason i shifted to IDM a yr back..!!

Besides i got curropt files quite often with Flashget... No (Very Rare) such problem with IDM.
