Hi ltk007,

It would be great if you could post the requirements and the various qualifications needed for the job of a reviewer as well as the payscale. It will help people decide.

hey...
There are no qualifications needed per say. If you are sure of your writing skills(which is strongly essential) and think that you can review for an elite and niche publication and willing to work freelance or part-time than please get back to me... We have a lot of subjects in store for our reviewers.... art, fashion, gadgets, technology, hotels, restaurants, nightlife, automobiles..... It actualy depends on your interests and/or area of expertise.
We'll give you the list of review subjects and you take care of the correspondence yourself for your convenience. You are welcome to input your own reviews if you have the sources...The magazine is going to be an elite publication targeting corporates and millionaires altogether. The review and content quality with no doubt is expected to be superior to any other magazine of the sort.
As for the paysclae... We are still in the planning phase of the magazine and so it wouldn't be wise or moral for us to set a payscale and then deny to pay that much... I would say:
per review*- anywhere from Rs500-1200.(freelance)
per issue*- anywhere from Rs3000-5000.(part-time)
('*' as i said, the payscale, is still to be decided but these are the basics)
We are planning to create openings for full-time reviewers after a few issues where extra benifits and priority will be given to the existing part-time or freelance reviewers. The pay of the reviewers will be indefinitely increased after the first issue keeping in mind the magazine sales.Until then its all part-time... maximum workload will be upto 2 days a week at the reviewer's convinience.
All those interested please feel free to get back to me with a few samples of your previous work in the field and if possible something that fits the needs of our magazine.

dont worry icefusion....
We're planning to launch the magazine in new delhi by next year and bangalore the year after that too... keep checking for future job openings...

The gadgets etc, you mentioned, will you be providing with sample pieces of those for reviewing and then returning or something?
