Revolver license Help

So, my dad is planning to get a revolver (6 bullet hand gun) license for me because of my dad's profession. My purpose is solely security purpose of my home and shop. I don't have any knowledge in this field. Please let me know the answers of few questions i have stated below (incase you dont have answers,please let me know through your dad or some adult as they might know the answers better. I tried google but its clearing my doubts well):

1. The biggest questions : Am i eligible as i am 20yrs old?

2. The procedure for applying the license. I am from Bareilly(U.P.)

3. Can i get the license for my purpose easily?

I guess eligibility age is 21 years . Apply next year .

Also you have to fill a form , Give all documents like 3 Years IT return copy , Address proof , ID proof and some character certificate from 2 citizens which is verified by a inspector .After that you need to declare why do you need a license for sports/recreational or personal protection (this is where it gets rejected , you need concrete reasons )

Ps- Issuance of new license was banned by supreme court in OCT 2013 for UP STATE , you will have to apply from another state where you have a address and can be there for any inquires .
