Suddenly I can hear wifi or mobile signals through my earphones. It's like a high pitched beep every few seconds. I usually use earphones connected to a 3.5 mm extension cable from pc to watch and listen to stuff. Now whenever there's silent parts I can hear that beep and it's driving me crazy. I can't seem to ignore that noise in my mind.

I searched Amazon for clip-on RFI Ferro magnets and these cost a lot (~₹3k). At that price i can buy wireless earphones. But heard that even Bluetooth earphones have this same problem. Is there any wireless RFI shielded earphones?
 
Use ordinary mosquito net (metalic) as a Faraday Cage and cover the headphones. It might take some trial and error but you should be able to block all interference.
Note: I'm assuming you are using wired headphones.
 
I haven't seen this problem in last 10 years but it was common before. Cheapest of headphones and speakers used to suffer from this problem.

Here's what you can do:
1. Don't use 2G and 3G. Lock the mobile to 4G with volte because it doesn't have this problem.
2. Don't plug USB drive or anything else near to the 3.5 jack of your computer.
3. Make sure your computer has earthing.
4. Keep some space between your wire and the mobile.
5. Learn to interpret the signal and then you won't need computer or mobile anymore.

Yes. I have an Amazon basics 3.5mm extension cable and a Sony headphone extension cable. The noise is louder in the Sony cable. I can't hear the sound if i connect the earphones directly to computer. If i add 3.5mm extension cable only then I hear the noise. Weird thing is I can hear the noise even if the extension cable is not connected to the audio output source of computer.

My phone is always on 4g. It is diagonally opposite the NUC. NUC runs off a 2 pin adaptor.

How do the interpret the signal? Any YouTube video?
 
hope not same case but ...

Tinnitus is when you experience ringing or other noises in one or both of your ears. The noise you hear when you have tinnitus isn't caused by an external sound, and other people usually can't hear it. Tinnitus is a common problem.
 
The noise i get is similar to this video at 12 seconds onwards. I can only hear that high pitch noise and not the stuttered breaking noise. The high pitched noise comes at regular intervals.

I found a solution white trying different things. Used my old fiio amp via usb and spdif output from computer and no more noise.


(Definitely not tinnitus)
