cpu, same
motherboard: asus a8n e or dfi, theitdepot.com
Ram: 1gb X 2, where will you find the UCCC ram?
HD:169gb SATA II NCQ or higher(maye arnd 4k for this one)
sparkle 7900GT for 17k approx
antec 450 watts or cooler master 430/450, 500 prefered if you want to overclock

mouse: microsoft optical comfort mouse: anrd 1k
this is what fits the budget, if you can increase the budget then
logitech mx 518 for 2850 and logitech G5 for 3600, these are gaming mice

keyboard: microsoft internet keyboard for anrd 450 or higher kb

ups i got microtek, maybe a tad cheaper

add a combo(sub 1500)

The config youve suggested sounds almost perfect freaky. Either of the mobos is good but id trust the A8N-E more. Rates for a few things have gone down a bit, 3000+ is ~5k now, UCCC is 2k per stick and the HDD is 4.4k, Seagate is 4.1k. RAM could be upped to 2 GB if thats within budget. For the PSU, Sp 450 will be more than enough for it but 500 wouldnt be a bad choice either, enough for any future upgrades as well. Cabby how about the SLK 1650. AMD's cpu prices are going to fall a bit, so wait a little while.

7600GT maybe a tad cheaper. Please check reviews of X1800GTO as well.
I wouldn't suggest any thing below GEforce 7900GT though.

Where do you find UCCC ram?

C'mon ppl. Need more inputs. Have always been one with bad luck regarding hardware - I buy something and soon after I find that the same is available for cheaper rates elsewhere. Dont wanna do the same and feel guilty later.

Do you really need such a costly powersupply for your rig? As I can see you are not really using some really power hogging components. For the cabbie try the antec plusview 2. You may be able to cut down on power supply. Some thing decent but not that expensive:hap2:

Antec SP 450 or Powersafe 450 should do very fine if you are gonna stick with a 7600GT. If going for 7900GT, then get the SP 500 or Powersafe 500.

As for cabby if size is not a constrait and performance is, then zebby Jamaica which I myself got for 3.2k (without PSU).

If you want size and looks, but money is a constraint, then zebby Antibiotic, VIP G300 or some cabby in the Navtech series.

If money is not a constraint and performance is, then go for Antec or coolermaster cabbies.

My first post in TechEnclave. U had asked for expert advice.... though i am not an expert, i guess i might be of some help to u.

The processor choice seems to be good. I personally i prefer the 3000+ venice over 3200+ basically because the former overclocks better. I heard that AMD is going to cut prices of AMD-64 CPUs. More on that here: AMD slashes prices, intros rebates on chips

Motherboard, ur choice seems to be a good one. if u can afford the ASUS A8N SLI Delux(Will cost u around Rs.8600) it would be a better option. This is said assuming that there would be some future upgradations(mostly Video card related).

Graphics Card, The X1900XT is a better option if u can afford to cough up some extra bucks. The X1900Xt would cost u $390 in the US(approx Rs.17000). So if u can manage to get it from the states then nothing better than that :) . The X1900Xt, if u think is beyond ur reach, then ur earlier choice of 7600GT is still a good choice.

Coming to the cabinet, Zebby is good. So is antec and CoolerMaster, but they are overpriced here in india. PSU, as lord_nemesis said powersafe 500 would do incase u are going for something higher than 7600GT, or else SP 450 would do.

The rest seems to be fine. :)
