*Due to the port alignment of the Gigabyte 880G board the HD5770 might block 2-3 SATA ports of the board

If u need USB 3.0 ports then u can consider the Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H ~ 4.8k/ MSI 880GMA-E45 ~ 5.1k

Sapphire GPU's seems to have only 2 yrs parts& labor warranty and the 3rd yr is only labor warranty.(worthless IMO) So better consider something with 3 yrs labor& warranty. (IINM MSI GPU's has 3 yrs labor& parts but confirm that with ur dealer when getting the stuff)

Wow.. that's an awesome config.. what are your views about Gigabyte Superb 460W? Also, I saw Sapphire 5770 1 GB GDDR5 for 7200 at Lynx Store Chandigarh..

Thats probably w/o VAT. With 5% VAT it would be ~Rs.7560.

Its a decent PSU but since you have the budget i would advice the Corsair/Seasonic as they have better components and have good reviews and officially 80%+ certified.

If u can find Seasonic S12II 430 in ur city then i wud advice u to buy this over CX400 coz it has better efficiency... (80+ Bronze) + It comes wid 2 PCI-E 6 Pin Power Connectors...

I just talked to my friend and he says that he doesn't needs a 22" monitor.. He says, Samsung B 2030 is fine which is 20" and has 1600x900 resolution.. It is around 6300 I guess. So we have more cash.. Would you mind reconfiguring the config?

If ur frnd doesn't want a 22" monitor then invest the money which will get saved by going wid B2030 in a good Mobo... like MSI 880GMA-E45(Sata3+USB3)... Doing This wud make ur rig a bit futureproof...

Intel Alternative:

CPU Intel Core i5 2400 9500

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H67-D2 5200

RAM Corsair XMS3 1600MHz CL9 1x4GB 2200

GPU MSI GTS 450 Cyclone 7250

HDD Seagate 7200.12 500GB 1775

Cabinet CM Elite 310 1500

Monitor Samsung B2030 6300

PSU Corsair CX400/Seasonic S12II 430w 2600

K&M Logitech Combo 700

DVD Writer Sony/Samsung/LG 950

Total 37975

Go wid this rig only if u r looking for something new and powerful... i skimped on things which are easily upgradable... the Rig that DA has suggested is also great... :)

The Processor that i've suggested beats or performs on par with i7 950 in gaming... Plus it outperfroms i5 760 and AMD Athlon II x4 640 in everybenchmark...

Motherboard has Sata6GBps ports... USB3 ports are not there in this motherboard...

the GPU that i have suggested is good for gaming at 1600x900 resolution... And can easily handle games at 1600x1900 resolution...

AND BTW i suggested u this rig coz i saw that u've increased ur budget from 35k to 36.5k... :)

If u want this rig to b strictly within ur budget then buy a Corsair Value 1333MHz CL9 2GB ~ 975 which wud bring the overall cost of the rig to around 36.9 to 37k

If you choose the i5 route then i strongly recommend the i5 2400 @ 9.5k coz it has a clock speed of 3.1Ghz compared to 2.8Ghz of the i5 2300 and the price difference is very small.

For mobo consider the Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2 ~ 5.2k (no USB 3.0 ports but u can added them via PCI-E X4 slot in future if needed)

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-H67M-D2 (rev. 1.0)

Remember that both this and the asus mobo have only 2 RAM slots. So get a single stick 4GB RAM so that upgrading is easier. Dont get 2*2GB now.

Edited the above post so that it wud b easier for u to get all the things that we r recommending...

Thanks to DA for sugesting some changes in my suggested rig :)
