Ripping/converting genuine audio CDs into MPs with album.

As the title says please suggest software that does what I want with the album info. A friend got some 700 odd original CDs which I want to store on my PC. I like WMP for ripping but sometimes it fails to "find album info". Softwrae should be able to "find album info" when i convert it into MP3s.
