This is a 5 part series on Discovery Channel that traces the evolution of videogames. The first two parts are out, and i liked them pretty much.

i liked the first episode, especially the part about shigeru miyamoto. the man is a genius, and no matter how much nintendo pays him, it's certainly not enough

but the second episode wasn't that great. i felt that the documentary isn't following a timeline. they went all the way from pong to romero in the first, then in the second they went back and and started all over again. still, i guess its worth a watch at least once.
