Well this is what you can expect from a HL2 die hard fans in the mod community. Rock 24 is a single player modification of the Half-Life 2 engine. While you can relate to Rock prison from Movies such as "The Rock" and "Face-Off" but the storyline of the game is entirely different from that of in those movies.
The game kicks off in a small ship where you find yourself being attacked by combine choppers. Next thing you know you are in a prison known as Rock 24. Your mission is to find and free Richard G Newell, a renowned rebel scientist and escape with him from the prison. In the process you get to solve some really neat puzzles just what you did when you were playing HL1. Yes HL1 and not HL2 cause the puzzles felt a little more tricky and required faster reflexes along with brains.
The Mod is just a 1 hour long game play but what else can one expect from a 200 odd MB download. You get to fight with choppers/Spiders/Crabs/zombies/Combine Soldiers and all other major enemies you found in the HL2 series. Also you get to use neat PSP's
