Router Buying Advise

Hello guys,

I am looking to return this router provided to me by MTNL, i therefore, am looking for a WIFI router with 2 or 4 lan ports, good sucurity and not more then Rs 2200/-. Please advise.

Get the Asus Rt-n10+.I got it recently for 1300 bucks.you can get it at a cheaper rate at ebay with coupons.It has 5 LAN ports and n wifi.Setup and signal strength ar quite good.

Do you want just a wireless router or a ADSL2 modem + router?

I just configured my friends router, its belkin N150, he bought locally for 1500 bucks, I use cable net, ADSL, works pretty fine, 4 LAN ports and wifi with capability of attaching 30 channels

This is just a wireless router Belkin N150 router Rs.1450

This is ADSL modem plus wireless router Belkin N150 modem router Rs.2427

What i want is a wireless router that supports mtnl adsl as i will be returning the one provided by them back to them and then intend to use this new one i buy for my connection

guys, i have bsnl modem ut300rt since 2007 and it died 2 days back. i am planning to buy a wireless capable modem/router. is that okay to purchase a cheap modem locally for 500 bucks and then buy asus/belkin router for 1200-1500 bucks separately? i am willing to speand 2000 bucks. i have a pc and my family member use laptop.

purchased belkin n150 adsl for 2500 locally. works great
