this is enough i have already got one overpriced bill of arnd Rs.5000 and now this ..now its simple ..i am not going to pay the bill and fed up of bsnl .. its like a mental torture to you :(

just tell me what are my option if i do not pay the bill ??

I think you should try the various tv-shows being aired for consumer protection. There are a few shows called Pehredaar on Janmat, Satyamev Jaayate on Star News and a few others on CNBC.

DUDE you should get the unlimited plan so that you don't get all this shit from them everymonth, it is the simplest sloution

Thats why I have a Airtel unlimited account even though I do not get the chance to use it in the day. When ever I go to pay the bill at airtel centre, I see people arguing about the incorrect bills.

@digital_brain: You should ask BSNL about the correctness of the bill. Ask them for an itemized bill and say that otherwise you are going to consumer court. For heavens sake and for your own peace of mind, shift to some unlimited account. With non-unlimited accounts you will find the same problems with every service provider.

Yeah limited connections are troublesome...I exceeded my 1 gb limit in few hrs they said (without any downloads)...Ofcourse I didnt pay and then changed to unlimited.

Same here...Too much of a bother (and risk) to monitor the daytime usage...

The 400/- extra for the unlimited are more than worth the piece of mind...

Also, even if you aren't downloading, backgrnd activities like windows updates would eat up a sizeable amount of that measly 1GB limit

DB, raise a compaint with BSNL, they will more than likely, reduce the amount...Though I suggest shifting to the unltd plan to avoid any such problems in the future

i got a 13k bill the first month. just went to the office and stated there was a mistake. they corrected it no questions asked.Seems they had charged my usage according to the bsnl 250 plan

Thats the problem with everything associated with the government...atleast in India...no one is accountable :( ... you seem to be one of the lucky few greenhorn.
