What are the rules : selling in behalf of friend.
Afaik it is permitted and I seem to remember reading some post which mentioned that its allowed as long as sufficient proof of ownership was provided and the OP would be responsible for any disputes arising thereafter.

Ofc from a buyer's perspective such listings should be treated carefully as should any other listing on the forum

I guess if you can buy for a friend, you can sell for a friend too. As long as people don't exploit it to resell or something.

IMO selling for friend should only be allowed if the listed product is in hand of a seller before taking payment also he/she takes full responsibility if anything goes wrong. Else people will never admit that they are selling on behalf of anyone
I think the rules are already clear on this. One can sell on behalf of anyone but he must have actual possession of the product. Shipping, testing warranty and all other hassles are to be managed by the seller. I also sold a gpu of my cousin and that gpu was at my place at the time of sale.

People can come up with all kind of excuses after receiving money (Ofc your case was completely different) those are the ones we need to be careful
