Rumors: Sony Ericsson W850
Could this be a Walkman version of the K790/800? But With SE we never might know.......
Before the announcement of Sony Ericsson K790/K800, there wasnt much info of any kind on the upcoming phone. Now the situation is the same with a new Walkman phone, which might be called the W850i.As for the technical specs of the rumored W850i,it will be close to Sony Ericsson K790/K800, besides the design has been just slightly changed, according to the photos.
The First image shows a whitened K790 that looks really nice, but it’s most probably fake & image above shows a W850 in a Norwegian Sony Ericsson site, but it’s probably fake.Its a K800 with slightly redesigned speaker and it’s box.
All these pics may be fake, but that doesn’t rule out a possibilty of Walkman branded model based on the K790.After all,when pics of K70/K800 were out they were called fake but SE confirmed it later....& K790 has all the Walkman capabilities and it would be an inexpensive way for Sony Ericsson of selling the phone in music related stores in which otherwise wouldn’t make sense to display a Cybershot device.
U could call it the Nokia,but U cant deny tat its effective....
Take K750 & W800 for example....if the K750/W800 platform would have been one only model, it wouldn’t have sold as much as the K750 and the W800 altogether.
