honestly i didnt like it.

knowing that this is what i have to use hence forth, i realize how happy i was without a symbol in the 1st place :P

why do we always have to have a symbol relating to our history and culture n etc etc ?

1) The letter 'Ra' of devnaagri script. Unique to our Country.

lol it totally resembles R without a vertical line doesn't it. They are even similar in sounding..talk about Unique :|

Sounth Africa's sign for currency is R..and it stands for rand :P :ashamed:

now wouldn't we be thrilled to have such a currency? everyone with some would be happier that how much they are with rupee. :P
 
i did thought abt that as well.

But honestly, removing the loop means kinda more acceptance to 'Rupee' ( Ra - Rupya- Rupee)

Works either ways.

But now i wd like to see the symbol on our keyboards.
 
....and Govt. panel announced (I read in news paper) that they were not going to use the symbol on Indian coin or currency.....:( :S :@
 
A pretty simple symbol. I can write it. I like it.
Looks like sanskrit, the english/hindi letter R and र at the same time.
