PC Peripherals Rust in cabinet

I have a CM Centurion 5 II cabinet,about 2 yeras old. The lower part of the front panel mesh had started to rust. Right now, it is patchy, but may eventually cover the entire front part. Is there any way to stop the rusting. Is it possible to clear the rust somehow, or recoat the panel again (I guess it is powder coated).
Is it even possible to buy the front panel. It is not listed in CM indian site, but is there in the european site. If possible in India, from where can I get it.

take a metal brush or use 100 number sandpaper and rub off the rust. then wipe the dust off and apply clearcoat paint available in hardware store. You can get the panel powder coated if you want.
