Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x

im deciding on amd itself , i cant afford those intel mobo which wont even be able to handle a bit better cpu for future
Yes, Intel combo are expensive and 13th/14th Gen processor infamous issue dent it's creditability.

don't think it's pushing for Intel, but how many times in past you upgrade your system (mobo/cpu) nd how frequently?

really , there was never a upgrade , when i was baby my father bought a computer randomly in 2010 idk why, and its still working , it pretty cheap pc with a intel pentinum family core something like that, and a year before we bought a entry level normal laptop mainly just for office use for my father but its pretty much in home itself like i use and all , so my father taught about buying a computer and i know it will be a one time upgrade so i wont be upgrading it much except increasing the ram and adding more ssd

I'm pretty sure the 5600x/5600 have been obsoleted (in the new market) by the 5600t. You can get it for 9.5k brand new, and some sellers are also selling it for 8k or lower open box. You can also try going into the used market where you might be able to find a 5600x for 6/6.5k, and imo CPUs are pretty safe buying used since they rarely ever die, correct me if I'm wrong please.
