CPU/Mobo Ryzen 5800x on MSI Tomahawk Max B450.

Currently running Ryzen 3500 on MSI Tomahawk Max B450. Looking to upgrade to Ryzen 5800X. Will my mobo hold good ? Read about heating, VRM problems etc.
If Mobo needs to be changed, what options does Intel offers comparable to R5800X. Will it be cheaper / better performance to switch to Intel CPU+New Mobo compared to 5800X+New Mobo ?

That motherboard is all good, new one not required, btw get 5700x and overclock or buy 5800x3D.

Perfectly fine if you're not gonna use a PCIe 4 SSD. That mobo can even run a stock 5950X comfortably.

If you looking to get a 5800x mainly for professional purpose,i would say,go for it,however if you getting for general use,you can save some money and get a 5700x instead.
