lol-isn't that your rig specs :) will definitely try this game - currently am still finishing GRAW and FEAR (and starting FEAR combat)
 
So does anyone have any idea when this game is coming to stores in india??..and No! I ain't gonna try the *ahem* version since this is one game which I definitely wanna buy.
 
rio, 30-60 days if you're lucky. still gaven't seen any copies of oblivion or gothic 3 around. for that matter i've never seen gothic 2 in india either, i had to get my copy from canada.

plus this is made by a small company - no way it comes here.
 
Well yeah, some games never come to India but due to popular demand you can expect to see STALKER soon.

yes it worked great on x1900xt maxxed out with 2gig ram without any problem, but unfortunately i can only try on x850xt pe now.

But THQ the publisher is big!!! ;)

If its one of those graphics pushing titles then the card vendors also help push the game...I'm also waiting, trying to get a copy from milestone to review ;)

ooh need I mention I'd been rooting for this game awhile, even on TE...do any of u guys recall??? FINALLIEEEEE!!

Its not even released officially yet. Think the official release is on 24th. It will take a while more to become available in India at a resonable (Indian) price. At the moment only the *ahem* version is available. :P.

Like DOOM3 this game had too much hype before release and if you approach it with very high expectations , it might disappoint.
 
wow you guys seem pretty pumped up about this title... not sure why. it was this exciting back when it was supposed to be released in 2004, but now, its just a tired game.

all the much hyped features (funky-name-ai, complete free roaming, complex rpg elements etc) have been toned down. at the time it was getting a lot of publicity, i think it was one of the first or few dx9 games, and it looked fantastic. well, it still looks great (seems similar to half life 2 gfx to me) but it is getting old. better looking games have come or are around the corner.

one very important point is the story, which according to use reviews is severely lacking.

basically what i'm hearing is that you get is a moody, atmosphere rich survival shooter which is not as good as lets say FEAR. i'm still in the process of acquiring it, lets see. i would love to be proved wrong, but as of now, all the hype and excitement i once had for this game is gone.
 
Is'nt this the same STALKER that was supposed to have been released back in 2003-2004? Hope it lives upto its expectations.

Anyways, any news on deuke nukem forever? :D
