PC Peripherals S2440L Weird Blinking Problem

Hi guys,

2 weeks back i got myself s2440l dell monitor.

I am having some weird issues with this monitor. Whenever i switch on my light or modulate my ceiling fan speed, the screen goes dark for 2 sec and reappears. This don't happen with all switches. Just some of them.

I've AMD gfx card and it has nothing do with gfx card [ mostly ] ... Op better check the main power socket / UPS he is using.
 
I tried this with my aoc monitor connected to tatasky through hdmi yesterday. Monitor and TataSky was connected directly to wall socket via extension (aka surge protector).
As soon as I reduced speed of fan, monitor signal was lost and came back after a second. This does not happen with both the dth and monitor connected to a ups. So it seems there's some sort of electrical disturbance produced in line which kills HDMI signal to monitor or TV when a switch or regulator is used.
