Finally got my s96j! I was so awestruck I was staring at it for 30 mins, then I was like ... uhm, I guess I should install the OS and shizzle.

Was busy showing it off to my friends, relatives etc. I'll prolly get to work on it tommorrow after college (Friggin 6 hours of college tommorrow, damn practicals).

dude!! where did you get this from? how much was it ? I been searching for this for a while cant find any distri for it :@
 
Redington is the distributor for it, as Sirius had mentioned. I had to call and speak to around 5-7 different employees at Redington, and call their Office line and listen to the shitty audio message atleast 25 times.

I then found a guy who knew what VBI was, spoke to him, got the name of a dealer offa him. Sent payment on Tuesday, got the lappie @ 9PM on Friday.
 
btw does it get heated up on use. if so how much. thats the biggest problem in desktop replacement notebooks.

plus who is actually giving the service for this in India?
 
Yeh, it gets a bit warm, but then again, all Lappies get warm.

I believe Redington itself provides service, but my dealer told me I'd have to claim warranty via him, so really doesn't matter who offers warranty, long as I can claim it if the need be.
