I can confirm the what nish has said here about that deal.

Sakshamkatyal did contact me regarding this deal between him and nish when nish gave him my acc no.

It looks like classic case of distrust on the saksham's side. He was still unsure about dealing on the forums. Honestly, if someone is that much distrustful, they shouldnt be dealing online at all.

I wont give out all the details of the conversation in Public, but its better this way that the deal didnt go through.

Nish, you can anytime PM me with the link to your thread or report it if you need mods to look into any posts in your sale thread

btw wasnt Shaksham infracted for threatening the forum??? He didnt threaten individuals/mods/admin but the forum itself which IMO shouldnt have been tolerated...
 
^^ I am not sure whether he was given any infractions, but TE mods were very patient with him when the other thread was going on. On most other less tolerant forums he would would have been banned when he threatened the forum.

yeah, even i am curious to know if he has been served any infractions or if he has been blacklisted/banned. i'd like to hear the mods opinion. i guess this is 2nd consecutive issue reported against sakshyamkatyal.
 
As far as I know, there was no action taken back then.

Ok, as this issue is in public and saksham has been asked to reply to this issue by another mod, I will put down the details I know about this deal here.

He was warned for something else. But not for that other market issue. I know about this deal as I somehow got involved when nish told Saksham to directly send funds into my account ( as he wanted to pay me for a phone ).

Saksham contacted me asking for my personal contact details for which I replied refusing to share personal contact info with any unknown person without a reason. Then I came to know that as he was told to transfer funds into my account he wanted to confirm, which is fare and I said yes, I am holding phone for nish and expecting payment. I contacted nish and told him I got this query from Saksham to which he replied confirming the deal between Saksham and himself.

So I replied to saksham with my personal tel no for contact so that atleast he feels secure and has my phone number just in case something goes wrong.

After this, I got a PM asking me to share any other contact numbers of nish_higher with him. Now I wont ever ever do this. I will not give or share anyone's personal contact number with anyone even if I had it and thus I didnt give him this info.

After that I heard nothing from saksham, and a PM from nish apologising for having to back out of my deal with him as he couldnt complete the deal.

Honestly I have only 1 advice to saksham, not everyone here is a scammer. And noone will share all their family history or all personal details while dealing online.

And yes, Infractions are at our discretion. If we start infracting everyone for things that are said against staff, god knows how many people will end up getting infraction. ( its a hobby of some people to just keep opposing anything a staff member does just for the sake of opposing a staff member ).

Focus on this issue in here and not something else.
 
I won't pretend to know a lot about psychology, but one thing I know is that some people project their own personality on others. So it turns out that in many cases, people who don't trust others in such an extreme manner are mostly the ones who are not trustworthy themselves and the way archat68's issue went was enough proof for me at least. Trust is a mutual thing, not one way, so at least I wound not (nor would recommend anyone to) take the risk of dealing with people with extreme case of mis-trust lest they are just projecting themselves on others.

Who knows if all those personal details were asked just in case he later feels like using his contacts to try and bully the seller into getting back his money once he is done playing with the item in question (just like what happened with archat68).

This should be the biggest mistake by archat too...

Never give your personal contacts to a stalker/psychopath/creep. :cry:
 
I don't know why he asked your personal details , shripad and i wouldn't have given your bank details if i knew it would turn this way.Sorry :(

But i never gave him mine at all except for my phone number and bank account.

I've sold/purchased a lot of products on forums.No one ever asked my family details.Neither have i.

I guess it was all about returning me a bricked phone after messing with the firmware.And since i made it clear that i won't be responsible for any firmware mess up,which i always tell the buyer in case of psp's or phones,he kinda gave up the deal as a mod was involved.

Thats all I have to say about many of you. I just pointed out by a fellow about this thread & I can see how smart & cunning people here have been. First it was that Archat & now this nish.

Thats so pathetic to see such malicious drives being driven against you for being a smart buyer. If public communities gives you the freedom to speak w/o limits, try to use your senses & brains. I have had all the mails with me where this person tried to dupe to me in one or the other way. Since I am too busy with own proffession I never cared to look back to such cheapsters. As that may not give me anything but rather waste my precious time.

I just don't want to put myself in to allegations any way, but I can see how smart this seller is. I have had this feeling of him being too suspicious in his activities, later few people confirmed me about this.

Moreover about Archat, when someone asked him about pick up from his city he simply refused it. I am having PM of people confirming this. Mods/admin can see it themselves.

All respect to spirit & work on such public forums but such morons are at best spoiling the entire game.

I always avoided to put myself in to arguments since I never wanted to be a part of it, coz I know I haven't done anything wrong, despite incurring losses due to arrogance shown by such seller. I have done so many deals over net & as a seller my records have been immaculate, if being an awakened buyer is sin, I would do it be it what.

I don't know why mods/admin allowed this thread to sustain w/o my knowledge but its sad to see such events happening behind your back.

The thread cannot be deleted, only closed. You have every right to defend your position and prove it.

But all I have to say in the end is that "Kindly use even minuscule of propriety as an active netizen, we owe such duty towards each one of us."

get me even one person who says I have duped him of even single paisa, or make someone bear a loss due to my irresponsible attitude as a seller.

Since he was aware of me doing an expose for him, he did a smart move by reciprocating in such a manner. I remember one hindi proverb "Chor ki daadi mein Tinka"

I will not reply to this thread in future since I don't agree to what this thread is telling to others, not because its about me but because its for a genuine buyer.

@sakshamkatyal sirjee please dont keep quiet.your enlightening views are required.please please dont stop responding.we all need to hear your wisdom and on tips on how to become a smart buyer by avoiding getting duped by anyone no matter you know him so well on the internet.
