Same file for 2 trackers

I want same file to seed for two private trackers. If I make another copy its easy but from same file how to seed both? cant I simply add tracker of another tracker to the existing tracker list on the bottom of utorrent???
 
no u cant add the trackers to the same file.

take the .torrent from both trackers, and point to the same folder, both can seed together.

BUT u should download only from 1 & upload to both after fully downloaded.

This is also called outside seeding.
 
I tried this but one doesnt work... I read somwhere i need different instances of same client to do this but I dont wanna try that. Is there any other way???
 
Its simple enuf.

Sure Shot Method:

Make 2 copies of the file in 2 diff folders and point the two torrents individually.

u r set.

Wen u point the second tracker to a file which has been downloaded via different source, there is a slight chance (infact a surity) that a few MBs wd be downloaded as the hash check wont match entirely.

but that download wd be really very little and u will get ur purpose solved if u want to seed to second tracker 'only'.

Its my guess that due to this failing of hash checks, the possiblitly of sharing a file via 2 diff tracker wont be successful.

Edit:

I think u r trying to get a double bonanza by seeding single file to diff trackers and that the upload of say 100 MB wd count in both the accounts, getting u overall 200 MB data upload stat in ur accounts.

That wont happen. Hash fail will make sure of that.
 
I am seeding one file from same folder to 2 trackers. It works with Utorrent, But file size should be same.
 
Same folder, same torrent name, same client, different trackers,

thats whats cross seeding all about.
 
I use this regularly and have had no problems ever. I use utorrent so am providing instructions for the same:

1. You will have to set utorrent to ask for the location where you want to save the downloaded files from the torrent.

2. Download the torrent from the 1st tracker and select the location where you will save the torrent and let it download fully.

3. After the download is complete from the 1st tracker, download the torrent from the 2nd tracker and add it to utorrent. utorrent will ask for the location. Make sure you select the same directory where you downloaded the file from the 1st tracker.

That is it. You should now be seeding to both trackers. This method also ensures that you don't waste disk space by having the same files in 2 different directories.
 
^^ well said, thats all u have to do m8, dont get so confused, follow this step by step process and get it done.
 
The most easiest way...I do this for ELEK,TT and TR..I usually download from TR...and upload it on TT and Elek(as soon as the torrent appears on the tracker)

When downloading he torrent from Elek..i open the torrent or save it in the location where TR music torrent was downloaded...and then it file checks...and Ur seeding on two trackers!!!

Could you please expand what are Elek, TT and Tr???
