I wish to buy a new monitor...
I' have narrowed it to either Samsung 2233SW and Benq E2200 HD.

1.Which one is better...

2.Can anyone give me the exact Lamington road price for the above..

3.Does any of have something better in the 22" range...

4.Since both the above have DVI input can i use it as T.V. along with TATA Sky or Dish T.V etc

1.Which one is better... : Samsung 2233SW

2.Can anyone give me the exact Lamington road price for the above.. : : It was 10.6k last week

3.Does any of have something better in the 22" range... - Dell 2409W for 13.5k is a better purchase for TV/Entertainment.

4.Since both the above have DVI input can i use it as T.V. along with TATA Sky or Dish T.V etc : i guess so

Even i was confused between Samsung 2233SW and BenQ E22 anf than i went to Prime personally and ask him to show me both the monitors and finally i decided to buy Samsung 2233SW

I am very much satisfied with Samsung 2233SW

:D

Reason for buying Samsung was- After Sale service is awesome as compared to BenQ

I have seen Samsung 2233sw, more than usual backlight bleeding. If price is same, go with E2200HD eyes closed, has HDMi, spkrs and other stuff, is a better purchase for TV/Entertainment.

hey 2 questions to you (Rocky)...
1. How do u know abt after sales at the time of sales?
2. Can you exactly tell me where in lammi we have "prime" shop... (i am also thinking of buying, and this seems very popular shop)

also any idea if I need to pay any octroi in Thane if i bring it to Thane?

I wa using Samsung CRT 19 inch from last 5 years and whenever i had a problem with that monitor Samsung use to solve in a day or 2.

Once i was not getting any display on my monitor and i called up Samsung at 10 in the morning and the guy came at 12-took the monitor and next day i got a new monitor at 4.00pm in eve..

So according to me Samsung's ASS is awesome :D

Benq ob. has better features and comes with DVI cable/HDMI input .. No wonder it cost 1.5k more than S2233SW...

The looks of course is personal choice but I find Benq fugly ... The Samsung looks are awesome and would be great for Show off as well.. The performance of both are same except the backlight bleeding in Samsung , the BLB isn't a great deal you won't notice it in day light it is only visible while working with black bg.. If you can live with it Samsung obv. has the advantage.. You get good looks, more than decent viewing angles and lower price..

The downside in addition to Backlight bleeding is that the pack doesn't come with DVI cable and the monitor doesn't have HDMi input.. So if you want a good looking monitor under 10.5k then Samsung is the way to go else Benq is decent also..

As already stated Samsung has better ASS than any monitor vendor here in India..
