PC Peripherals Samsung 2x33SW "PLUS" - rebranding ?

It looks like Samsung has done some re-branding for their 2x33SW series models.

On the Samsung India site, i could find models with names 2033SW and 2033SWPLUS. Same with 2233SWPLUS.

On the first looks, the models look same, even the specs look same, except for one difference which was the contrast ratio. the PLUS models seem to boast 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio as opposed to the non-plus models having 15000:1. rest all things look similar.

Another things which i observed was all the 2033SW models were mentiond having screen size of 21.5 inches. I guess this is supposed to be the size of the 2233 models. Am i missing something here?

NOT really! Deltapage has just listed the price of 2043+ which has been there forever. It is yet to list 2033sw+ and 2233sw+.

@mhamirma: I also observed that 2033sw+ has a 21.5" screen. Something to think about! I just hope they don't start swapping good panels with el cheapos.

Samsung seems to be so obsessed with the 2x33 product line; they've introduced 2233HZ, 2233RZ(120Hz monitor for nVidia 3D goggles), 2233HD along with the 2233SW and 2233BW series. I am pretty sure there are some more! Their marketing department does know know that numbers are infinite, don't they?

Were not listed in June (19th). Nice to see fewer "N" models ( VGA only ). And expanded list for mobos.
 
What confuses me here is that, they have listed 21.5 inches for the 2033SW and 2033SW plus and same 21.5 inches for 2233SW. now is that a sort of typo error from samsung website guys? i dint did not find the PLUS models on the samsung US site.
 
Looks like P2350: 12500/-, 23" FullHD seems to be a good buy at that price. Also, it looks stunning and will definitely bring in envy in friends eyes:)
 
I have a samsung 2033sw monitor which is mentioned on box sticker. On the back side of lcd panel it mentions samsung 2033sw 'plus' so i do not if that is good for me. The contrast ratio is 50000:1
 
2033 SW is a 20" model and not 21.5". This has been discussed before in some thread (I don't remember). Plz ignore the samsung site, that's a bloody typo
