Samsung Announces New Exynos 4 Quad Processor
Samsung has announced its next generation quad core Exynos 4 processor which will be powering its next flagship Galaxy smart-phone .
Based on Samsung's 32nm HKMG fabrication process , the processor packs four Cortex A9 cores than run upto 1.4GHz individually .
The Exynos 4 Quad 4212 packs two times number of cores as Exynos 4 Dual 4212 which powered the Galaxy S II , theoretically giving two times better performance .
It also consumes 20% less power than previous Exynos chip which was developed using 45nm process .
We will see the performance once cpu benchmarks of next Galaxy device come out .
