Samsung has confirmed the devices which will be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade officially reports TheVerge.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note
  • Samsung Galaxy S Advance
  • Samsung Galaxy S II LTE
  • Samsung Galaxy Chat
  • Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
  • Samsung Galaxy Beam
  • Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Mini 2
  • Samsung Galaxy S Duos
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Galaxy Tab 2 310)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Galaxy Note 800)

The Galaxy S III started getting the update yesterday starting from Poland , other regions will also start getting it gradually .

The update brings Google Now, Project Butter, and other enhancements .
The update will also bring a few Samsung-specific enhancements, including improved 'Pop up play' functionality, a new 'Easy Mode' that offers easy-to-use widgets for favorites and recently-used applications, and a 'blocking mode' that sounds remarkably similar to Apple's 'Do Not Disturb' function.

holy crap. a software update in my phone!
I hope the good guys at samsung aint playing on my battery life.It is severely constrained as it is.
