Heaving serious troubles with over-heating of Samsung F41.
Kids using same for schooling (4 to 5 hours) on google meet.

Tried various solutions from web/yt but nothing works, hope anyone else using same and found a solution ?

4 to 5 hours of continuous Google Meet with the camera on can tax most phones out there.

You should ask the school to reduce the usage of GMeet. ;)

Yes 4 to 5 hours continuous on Google Meet. Does that really makes mobile hot ?
It happens only during school hours.
Have you tried power saver mode ?
Will check this too.
Hope, no malware/suspicious app downloaded unknowingly by children or keep doing extra activities (multi tab open) while on Gmeet
Its a brand new mobile, hard reset was not done after purchase..
Will you strongly suggest going for a soft hard reset either from settings or via bootup ?
Can this help in removing some bloatware or malware ?

Google Meet or any meet app like zoom etc is constant connection to internet, Video and Audio Downloading And Uploading at lowest latency possible, it is close to the most demanding thing you can do on any phone, right up there with playing a heavy game or recording 4K video, any phone will heat up after a while as they don't have any cooling fans, some top tier flagship devices can hold on to the sustained load but will heat up as well, the heat is normal you are using the device for an extended period and constantly pushing 5w-10w of power from the SoC.

The ideal thing of Meet/zoom etc is a laptop or a cheap tablet, they have bigger batteries and more surface area so better cooling, will last longer. Phones will work but at the cost of overheating, and doing that every day for months/years will lessen the battery lifespan of the phone due to heat and wear and tear of the battery.

Absolutely. My previous three phones had been carrying flagship processors when they were bought. 820,845 and A12. All three of them would almost melt if I did 2 hour long video call on them. On midrange phone thermals, heating is even more expected. I too would suggest using a cheap laptops instead of phone.

Also, i am certain that many times the phone would be on charging during the gmeet calls as the calls last for long. It would heat even more and then maybe start dropping frames. It is par for the course.
