Samsung F8 LCD lineup announced at IFA
It's always a pleasure to track what Samsung is up to because they always make juicy announcements. For instance, at the IFA in Berlin they announced the F8 series of LCDs. What makes this jaunt special is the LE46F86BD TV. It features 100MHz Motion Plus technology for sharper images, 1080p support, a mind-boggling 25,000:1 contrast ratio, and a super CLEAR panel coating. Additionally, you'll find a USB 2.0 port, a trio of HDMI 1.3 sockets, an eight-millisecond response time, and CCFL backlighting.
There is slim chance that in F8 series, the LE46F86BD TV may be the renamed version (to suit different markets) of 71 / 81-series that Samsung announced last month. Details on pricing and availability when we get it.
