Samsung Focus for $175 - opinion required

I was super tempted looking at Shripad's Samsung Focus thread, and thought of trying my luck with the auction. I managed to win this phone on an ebay.com auction for $175. Before I pay for this and get it shipped, I need your help in finding out if I am missing something.

My concerns:

- New item [check as per seller]

- Warranty [not mentioned on listing]

- Seller reputation [pretty new, though I am willing to take the chance]

- Unlocked [going by Shripad's thread again, expecting it to be pain free]

i ordered this phone for around $ 300 few days back but its unlocked and there's a car charger free with it. :no:
 
The phone is indeed awesome, and at the price I and now prajith have got it, it sounds like a steal. I just confirmation from the seller that this is a brand new piece - just hoping that is indeed the case. Now on to shipping :D

Final cost would be known only once I receive the package. As of now, the phone cost 8028 INR. Customs and shipping, if things go fine, should be another 1000 bucks at most - I think.

If you are interested, head over to ebay.com, search for the phone you are looking for, and check the Auctions. Remember that with auctions, the real bidding happens in the last minute or two, so set an alert / reminder to check the auction listing just when it is closing so your chances of making a winning bid increase. Of course, like with all online purchases, identify the right listing by looking into details like new / refurbished status, warranty etc.

I was just gonna buy the Optimus 7 for $210 when i came across this thread.

Within an hour I won one at $178.

I was winning at $147 with about 8 secs left to finish the auction and then some idiot came and hiked the stake to $175 :@

luckily i had kept my max bid at $180 and ended up winning at $178. :clap:

its gonna come here through my SNS account. Expecting another 1K odd for that so total cost would be around 9K
